At Bandarban district level Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman National Gold Cup Football Tournament,Boys (U-17) and Bangamata Fazilatunnesa Mujib National Gold Cup Football Tournament,Girls (U-17) -2022 have been inaugurated.
Bandarban Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji inaugurated the Bandarban district level competition on Saturday (June 11) morning.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Overall) Suraiya Akhter presided over the Inauguration Program.At the time,General Secretary of District Sports Association and Municipal Mayor Md.Islam Baby,Additional Superintendent of Police Md.Nazim Uddin,Upazila Executive Officer (Acting) of Roangchhari Md.Fakhrul Islam,District Sports Officer Md.Main Uddin Milki were present.
In the first day’s match, Alikadam Upazila girls team defeated Roangchhari Upazila girls team 5-0.
In the match,Alikadam player Tumpa was selected Man of the Match.In the boys section,Alikadam Upazila defeated Roangchhari Upazila 2-1.Alikadam’s Mohammad Simon was named Man of the Match.Former Dhaka Premier League footballer Mahfuzur Rashid Bachchu acted as the commentator of the Two game.
It is to be mentioned that Bandarban District Sports Office is cooperating in this tournament organized by Bandarban District Administration.
