The Independence Cup Carrom Tournament has been inaugurated on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of Independence. Bandarban District Sports Officer Main Uddin Milki announced the inauguration of the three-day tournament as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the tournament at Bandarban District Stadium Pavilion premises on Friday (April 8) at noon.

BFF Registered Referee (Bandarban) Bappi Mallik was present as the special guest at the inaugural function presided over by the late Abu Bakkar Srity Shongshod President Md.Elias (Manik).

Appearing as the chief guest,District Sports Officer Main Uddin Milki said that any exercise in sports plays an important role in keeping the youth away from all kinds of bad deeds including drugs.The Bandarban District Sports Office will provide overall support to the players who perform well in this tournament so that they can improve their skills through advanced training.

In this regard,the organizer Md.Elias (Manik) said,in this 3-day tournament,a total of 8 rounds will be held in 4 rounds in single and double system.Players from Rhythm Royal Sporting Club,Morning Football Academy,Eagle Sporting Club and Eagle Tigers Academy are participating in the tournament.
