Chittagong Range Football Tournament inauguration ceremony held in Bandarban. The tournament was inaugurated on Wednesday (March 8) Noon at the Bandarban Police Lines ground with a grand ceremony.Superintendent of Police Bandarban,Md.Tariqul Islam,PPM presided over the inauguration ceremony.At this time,he auspiciously announced the opening game by flying a dove as a symbol of peace.In the opening game, Bandarban District Police Football Team defeated Noakhali District Football Team by 6-0.

Bandarban District Sports Association General Secretary Mayor Md.Islam Beby, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) Md.Jahangir,Assistant Superintendent of Police (DSB) Md.Salah Uddin,Press Club President Aminul Islam Bachchu, General Secretary Minarul Haque were present.According to the district police,12 teams are participating in this tournament.In the opening game, Bandarban District Football Police team’s jersey number 16 player Komol was adjudged the man of the match.He lit up the game as the first hat-trick holder of the tournament.Komol Scored three goals himself and assisted three other goals Also.Bandarban District Punak President Mrs.Sohana Tariq presented the man of the match award to Kamal For the best player of the match. Sports organizer Mahfuzur Rashid Baccu described the action as a commentator in the opening game.The finale of this range football tournament organized by Bandarban District Police is scheduled to take place on Saturday,March 18.
