The seized drug yaba has been destroyed as a clue in one case in Naikhyangchhari upazila of Bandarban.The drugs were destroyed at noon on Thursday (June 2) in the presence of Judicial Magistrate Syeda Suraiya Akter under the direction of acting Chief Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Khorshedul Alam Sikder at the Bandarban court premises.According to court sources, 6112 pieces of yaba seized by Naikhyangchhari police station in one case have been destroyed after legal process.The estimated market value of the destroyed yaba is 18 lakh 33 thousand six hundred Tk.Acting in-charge of the court Malkhana SI Priel Palit confirmed the matter.

The investigating officer of the case SI Dhiman Barua,GRO of the court Mohammad Kawshar, journalists of print and electronic media and members of law enforcement police were present.
