District assembly of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force was held in Bandarban.The district convention was held on Wednesday (October 11) at the Hillview Convention Hallroom.The Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) Was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
Deputy Commissioner Shah Mujahid Uddin presided over the assembly organized under the overall management of Ansar and Village Defense Force District Commandant Md. Nuruzzaman.
Deputy Director General of Ansar and Village Defense Force Chittagong Range Saifullah Russell was present as the keynote speaker.Superintendent of Police Saikat Shaheen,37th Ansar Battalion Director Ziaur Rahman,4th Ansar Battalion Director Md.Kamal Hossain and others were present.
As The Chief Guest Speech Minister Bir Bahadur said that,Ansar members are playing a role in every arena of the country.Ansar Bahini members are not present anywhere.Ansar members are working for the welfare of the country everywhere.Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has elevated Ansar force to a prestigious position like other forces.Minister Bir Bahadur praised the Ansar forces and thanked the Ansar members for their role in various situations including law and order and calamities.
