Under the special project program by the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts,Rice has been distributed among the destitute,Poor and unemployed people in Bandarban Sadar Upazila and Bandarban Municipal Area to cope with floods and natural calamities.

The rice was distributed simultaneously among destitute and jobless families in six unions of Bandarban Sadar Upazila and nine wards of the municipality,Including Rajar Math,On Friday (July 8th) under the implementation of the Hill District Council.

Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) Distributed rice among the destitute and unemployed families as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion,Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Bir Bahadur said, “People across the country are getting various opportunities and assistance today due to the sincerity and affection of the present Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.”

The government of Bangladesh Awami League has improved the standard of living of the common man by introducing various types of allowances including old age allowance,Widow allowance,Milk allowance,Freedom fighter allowance.Now the common man is getting the benefits.

That is why the people of the country are living a good life now.Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) Expressed hope that the government would continue to provide such humanitarian assistance in the future as well.

Among others present on the occasion were ATM Kausar Hossain,Chief Executive Officer of Hill District Council,Additional Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Pal,Executive Magistrate of District Administration Rajib Kumar Biswas, Member of Hill District Council Kasapru, Member Mozammel Haque Bahadur,Panel Mayor Sourav Das Shekhar And Councilors of different wards.

On this day,10 kg of rice was distributed to each of the five thousand two hundred and ten poor and unemployed families of six unions and 9 wards of Bandarban Sadar Upazila.
