This was stated by Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) while distributing solar panels in remote Tindu Union of Thanchi Upazila in Bandarban on Friday (May 27).During the visit,Hill Minister Bir Bahadur distributed solar panel systems among 576 families in different areas of remote Tindu Union with the funding of Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board.
At the same time,The Hill Minister handed over the nutritious rice of VGD beneficiary women provided by the Ministry of Children and Women Affairs to the needy.
At the same event,He also distributed generators and deoxy for the residents of Usamang Para and Prusaong Para living in the remote Remakri area.On the same day,Minister inaugurated the construction of Thanchi bus terminal at a cost of Tk 1.5 crore,laid the foundation stone of the road at Naidari Para at a cost of Taka 1 crore and inaugurated the construction of Hindu temple at a cost of Taka 25 lakh.These three projects are being funded by the CHT Development Board.
