Festival of Liberation: Deputy Commissioner Bandarban handed over goats to 18 needy families at the Golden Jubilee Fair

In Bandarban,a goat distribution program has been started among the extremely poor families with the funding and overall support By World Vision Bangladesh.
Bandarban Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji inaugurated the program on Monday (March 21) at the Bandarban District Administration premises under the management of GRAUS.
Additional District Magistrate of Bandarban Suraiya Akhter Sweety,Executive Magistrate Md.Kayesur Rahman,World Vision Bangladesh (Bandarban) Senior Manager Stephen Halder Ruven,Executive Director of Grosses Chai sing Marma were present on the occasion.
Appearing as the chief guest,The Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Pervin Tibiji said, “We welcome the program organized in collaboration with World Vision Bangladesh.” The people of our very poor families will enjoy the benefits of this program.
She Said,In order to build the golden Bangladesh of the dream of the father of the nation and a hunger and poverty free Bangladesh of the dream of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, everyone along with the government must take initiative and stand by the helpless people.
On behalf of Bandarban District Administration,I would like to thank all those involved in this program.I believe that this kind of support will help the needy families to create some prosperity.
She Added Also,World Vision also has an important contribution to make in the socio-economic development and human resource management of the country.
Later, the deputy commissioner distributed 36 goats in pairs to 18 very poor families.Dr. Mahmudul Haque,MA Aziz and Sabita Halder were present on behalf of World Vision at the inaugural function.
Stephen Halder Ruven Senior Manager,World Vision,Said that under this program,a total of 262 goats will be distributed among 50 families in Wards 1,2,3 of Bandarban Municipality,50 in Kuhalong Union,50 in Rajbila Union,50 in Tonkaboti and Shualok Union.In addition,44 pigs, 23 sewing machines and goods from 2 shops will be distributed.
He Added Also,GRAUS will implement the entire program as a partner organization with the overall funding of World Vision Bangladesh.
Meanwhile,The birthdays of hundreds of children registered under the Birthday Bounce Back program have been celebrated.Additional Deputy Commissioner Umme Kulsum was present as the chief guest on behalf of Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji at the Sampriti Mancha on Tuesday (March 22) morning.
During this time,World Vision distributed hygienic special soaps,toothpaste and other items as birthday gifts.The children cut the cake and got ready for the birthday celebration.Creation is an unprecedented environment.GRAUS implemented the program in collaboration with World Vision.
