Fighting toward World War III: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday he was ready to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, he warned that if negotiations failed, fighting between the two countries would lead to a “third world war”. The US news agency CNN reported this information on Sunday.

“I’m ready to talk to him (Putin),” Zelensky said in an exclusive interview with CNN on Sunday morning, local time. I have been ready for the last two years. And I don’t think we can end this war without negotiations.

“If there is even a 1 percent chance of ending the war, I think we should take that opportunity,” he said. We have to do that. I can say about the outcome of this discussion – whatever it is, we see the death of innocent people every day.

“Russian forces have come to annihilate us, to kill us,” Zelensky said. But we also counter-attacked. But, unfortunately, that is not going to save lives. So I think we should take the opportunity to talk anyway, to talk to Putin. But if that attempt fails, it could lead to a third world war.
