This time Jyotika Jyoti Appointed As A director of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy

Actress Jyotika Jyoti has Appointed the directorship of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.This was confirmed in a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday (March 13).The Notification Said,Jyotika Pal Jyoti has been appointed as director of the academy for a contractual period of two years.

Jyoti also has to fulfill one condition in joining this post.According to the conditions,if you are associated with any other institution or organization,You have to abandon it.Besides,other terms and conditions will be determined as per the contract.

Jyoti is thrilled to have such a responsibility in a state institution.But She is also feeling the pressure of responsibility.In this regard, Jyoti said, ‘It is a very big responsibility for me.I always enjoy challenging tasks.Ever since the notification was issued,I have been receiving greetings from people from different parts of the country.It’s great to see that’.Jyotika added, “This is a cultural field and I assure everyone that I will work with my utmost talent for the betterment of art and culture for our country”.

Incidentally,Bangladesh Academy of Arts has a director general.Liaquat Ali Lucky is currently in this position.There are four directors.Jyoti will serve as one of these four for the next two years.Note that Jyotika Jyoti’s career started in 2004 through a beauty pageant.

After that,she presented herself as an actress in TV dramas and movies.Some of the films she has acted in are, ‘Ayana’, ‘Nandit Narake’, ‘Jeebandhuli’, ‘Anil Bagchir Ekdan’, ‘Maya: The Lost Mother’, ‘Rajalakshmi O Srikanth’ etc.Jyoti is currently working on films like ‘Antyeshtikriya’, ‘Anavrita’ and ‘Agunpakhi’. Jyoti was last seen in the National Award winning film, “Laal Moroger Jhuti”.She is also set to start shooting a new untitled project soon.
