Great Independence and National Day:Collective prayers of children

On the occasion of the great Independence and National Day and the Golden Jubilee of Independence on March 26, a discussion meeting and a collective prayer was held in the Government Children’s Family of Bandarban.

Bandarban District Council member and convener of the Social Services Convening Committee Ting Ting May was present as the chief guest at the function held at Shishu Paribar Chattar on Saturday (March 26).

Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Abdullah Al Mamun was present on behalf of Bandarban Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji at a function presided over by Bandarban District Social Services Deputy Director Milton Muhuri.

District Council Member Satyaha Panji Tripura,District Council Member Siyung Khumi,City Social Service Officer Shafiqul Islam,Women Councilor Deepika Rani Tanchanga and others were present as special guests in the discussion meeting conducted by Assistant Teacher Mongcha ching Chak Tushar.

Satyajit Majumder, Deputy Superintendent of Government Children’s Family was in overall charge of the program.Rahim Tripura,headmaster of the government children’s family and journalists from print and electronic media were present.The official activities of the day started with the great national anthem.

Later,at the beginning of the discussion, the chief guest Ting Ting May paid his respects to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and all the members of the martyr’s family.

Besides,She expressed his gratitude to all the martyrs of the great freedom struggle including the four national leaders.At the same time,She called upon the children to be clean and tidy and expressed his determination to expedite the ongoing works to create a conducive environment for government child families.At the end of the discussion,good quality food was served to the children of the children’s family.

Meanwhile,Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal),founder of the old online daily CHT Times Com in Bandarban,gave a sweet face to 75 children of the government children’s family for achieving successful results in the junior group of the parade competition held at Bandarban District Stadium on the occasion of Great Independence and National Day’22.
