Deputy Commissioner Gold Cup Football Tournament was inaugurated in Bandarban With a colorful Manner.On Friday (February 10) afternoon Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) Inaugurated the tournament by flying balloons and pigeons as the chief guest at the Bandarban district stadium ground. President of Bandarban District Sports Association and Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji presided over the inauguration ceremony.

Kings of Banrupa (Bandarban Municipality) and Lama Upazila Football Team participated in the inaugural game.The mesmerizing display was shown at the beginning of the official opening announcement.Lama Upazila Football Team beat Kings of Banrupa (Bandarban Municipality) Football Team 1-0 in the opening match.Chingya Marma,The number 9 jersey holder of the Lama Upazila team was selected as the man of the match in the opening game.

Local Government Department Deputy Director Md.Lutfur Rahman,Additional Deputy Commissioner (Overall) Suraiya Akter Sweety,Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar) Md.Shah Alam,General Secretary of District Sports Association, Municipal Mayor Mohammad Islam Beby, Lama Upazila Executive Officer Mostafa Jabed Kaiser were also present At The Time.The tournament management committee has decided the possible date for the final of the tournament on February 24.
