On Digital Bangladesh Day 2022 organized under the theme “Advanced Technology, Inclusive Development”, Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the visionary of Digital Bangladesh, gave directional advice to face all the challenges of 2041.
This software of Bandarban District Administration won Digital Bangladesh Award-22 as the Technical Best Team (Government initiative) at District Level.Under the leadership By Deputy Commissioner of Bandarban Yasmin Parvin Tibriji,The officials of Bandarban District Administration and Directorate of Information and Communication Technology received the award as a group.
Monday (12 December) The Department of Information and Communication Technology organized the event at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the capital.
The Prime Minister also unveiled the digital and print editions of two books on Sheikh Kamal and Digital Bangladesh.State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology AKM Rahmatullah MP spoke on the occasion.Information and Communication Technology Department Senior Secretary NM Ziaul Alam delivered the welcome address.

Later, the Deputy Commissioner took the initiative to develop a web based software to simplify the travel permit process with an aim to streamline the travel of tourists and simplify administrative matters.This software was officially Inauguration Last 31-July.Welcoming this online activity of the tourism-related entrepreneur of Bandarban,Praised him for such initiative.
According to them, since this online process has been launched, foreign tourists have been freed from various types of harassment.It is known that after the official launch of this software,More than three hundred foreign tourists traveled to Bandarban district using the software. Also,This software of Bandarban District Innovation Team won 3rd place in Chittagong Division at Chittagong Divisional Innovation Showcase-2022 on June 6.
