A press conference was held on the occasion of Digital Innovation Fair-22 organized by Bandarban District Administration.The press conference was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference room on Wednesday (November 16).
Deputy Commissioner of Bandarban Yasmin Parvin Tibriji presided over the press conference.In The press conference, the Deputy Commissioner said,Digital Innovation Fair will be held on November 20 and 21 in Bandarban district like the rest of the country.In the election manifesto of 2008,it was announced By The present government will build Digital Bangladesh.
Under the able leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the well-planned efforts of Information and Communication Technology Adviser Sajib Wazed Joy,that 2008 announcement has been successfully fulfilled as Digital Bangladesh 2021.The government has set a new target to transform Digital Bangladesh into Smart Bangladesh by 2041.The government is working to fulfill that goal.
She Said,There will be 60 stalls in 4 pavilions related to thematic innovation with a focus on providing public-private digital services from digital fair stalls, showing innovations of local innovators, innovative ideas,Solving social problems including smart cities.Deputy Commissioner sought,the cooperation of journalists through publicity campaigns on the occasion of the fair.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Dr.Md.Sheikh Chadek,Bandarban Press Club President Aminul Islam Bachchu,General Secretary Minarul Haque,Programmer (Acting) Surut Alam Akash and journalists from print and electronic media were present on the occasion.
It is to be noted that with the aim of making Bangladesh a science and technology dependent developed country, Information and Communication Technology Department is cooperating at upazila and district level to spread innovative thinking and encourage various innovations at all levels.
