On the occasion of National Plantation Campaign-2022,The road beautification program funded by Arannak Foundation was inaugurated.

Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji inaugurated the tree plantation program in Bakichra area of ​​Bandarban district headquarters on Wednesday (July 20).

At that time Deputy Director of Local Government Department Md. Lutfur Rahman,Additional District Commissioner (General) Suraiya Akhtar Sweety,Additional District Magistrate Umme Kulsum, Divisional Forest Officer Haq Mahbub Morshed, Divisional Forest Officer (Pulpwood Plantation) Md.Mahmudul Hasan.

Local UP chairman, print and electronic media journalists were also present. According to the organizers,various flower saplings will be planted along 10 km of Bandarban-Rangamati road.

Besides,different types of flower seedlings will be planted on both sides of the main road of 7 upazilas.Initially,The organizing organization Aranyak Foundation has started preparing to plant about 6,000 saplings.

The program is being implemented by Bandarban District Administration and Pulpwood Plantation Department.
