Children’s Fair-2022 was held at Thanchi Government High School premises. Bandarban District Information Office organized this children’s fair for two days.
Last Tuesday Morning (24 May) Chairman of Thanchi Upazila Parishad Thoaihla Mong Marma was present as the chief guest at the inaugural function of the two-day fair under the project titled Awareness Communication Program on Child and Women Development (Phase 5) 1st Amendment.
Thanchi Upazila Executive Officer Rahul Chanda,Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr.Wahiduzzaman Murad,Acting Upazila Education Officer Md. Nizam Uddin,Upazila Social Service Officer Md.Parvez Bhuiyan were present as special guests at the function presided over by District Information Officer Priant Sun.Headmasters of primary and secondary schools and Komalmati students were also present on the occasion.
The day’s activities began with a colorful rally followed by a discussion meeting.District Information Officer Priant Sun delivered the welcome address.The lively presence and lively participation of the children gave a different dimension to the children’s fair.
A colorful cultural program was organized by the artists of the Information Office even in the hostile rainy environment.According to the District Information Office,8 stalls have been set up at the fair.
The colorful stalls are decorated.The closing ceremony was held on Wednesday (May 25) with the distribution of prizes.
