Annual General Meeting of Bandarban Local Truck and Mintrack Owners Cooperative Society Limited has been held.Bandarban Sadar Upazila Cooperative Officer Kya Bu Hri Marma and newly arrived Sadar Upazila Cooperative Officer Nurul Absar were present as special guests at the function presided over by Amal Kanti Das,President of Local Truck and Mini Truck Owners Cooperative Society.
Abu Musa,vice-president of the association, Haji Shafiqul Alam Babul (general secretary), Haji Zaman Abdun Nasser (organizing secretary),Nuruzzaman Milon,(joint general secretary) and Md Mohiuddin,(office secretary) were present at the meeting.
Publication Secretary Sujan Chowdhury Sanjay,Senior Member Kamal Uddin Member,Khalilur Rahman (Sohag),Sabikur Rahman juel were present Also on the occasion.
Abul Kalam Munna,one of the Vice Presidents of Local Truck and Mini Truck Owners Association,was in overall charge of the event.
Members of the association,shareholders, journalists of print and electronic media were present on the occasion.
At that time the President of the General Assembly Amal Kanti Das said, “Today is a historic day for the Bengali nation”.On this day,we organized a general meeting on a significant day,the day of the return of Sheikh Hasina,the worthy daughter of the Father of the Nation.
The term of the present committee will expire next June.We would like to form a new steering committee on the basis of election or selection with the opinion of all the members of the association for the new committee.
He expressed his gratitude on behalf of all the members of the owners’ association to the Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Bir Bahadur Ushaising MP for providing grant for the construction work of the association’s building.
He also conveyed to the members present at the general meeting the various cooperation and directions of the Hill Minister Bir Bahadur for the successful management of the progress and various initiatives of the association.
