The Bandarban Sadar Upazila administration is working to implement the initiative taken by the government to sell TCB products thinking of the people on the occasion of Ramadan.
In the second phase,Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) has started selling its products in different unions of Sadar Upazila from Thursday (April 7) under the supervision of Bandarban Sadar Upazila Administration.
On the first day of the second phase,under the overall supervision of Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Sabrina Afrin Mustafa,TCB products were sold at subsidized prices among family card holders at 9 places including Kyamolong Para,Chorui Para and Balaghata in Kuhalang Union under Sadar Upazila.
In this regard,Bandarban Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sabrina Afrin Mustafa said that in the second phase of Sadar Upazila from April 7 to 17,each family with family card will get the opportunity to purchase 4 products at 560Tk.
On the first day of the second phase,12 hundred beneficiaries of Kuhalong will be able to purchase this product.Under this program,9,741 families in Bandarban Sadar Upazila will get the opportunity to purchase TCB products.
In the second phase,the goods are being delivered by truck cell system for sale among the card holders of Sadar upazila.The Sadar Upazila Administration is working at the marginal level to ensure proper marketing of these products in the stipulated time as per the list.
