Bandarban Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sabrina Afrin Mustafa said that the initiative taken by the government on the occasion of the upcoming Ramadan will be implemented properly.She made the remarks while attending the sale of subsidized products at Suwalak Union in Bandarban Sadar Upazila on Sunday (March 20) morning as part of delivering TCB products to 10 million families across the country on the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.She further said that TCB products have been sold by truck at 6 Spot of Sualok Union since morning.The public was informed by miking in each area before the sale started.Besides,people are buying TCB products as opposed to family cards.According to the list,a total of 9,741 beneficiaries in Bandarban Sadar Upazila will be able to buy this product from TCB.On the first day announced by the government on Sunday,March 20,in the presence of Bandarban Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sabrina Afrin Mustafa,they purchased goods from TCB at a subsidized price against 432 family cards.Spots are Faruk Para,Getsomoni Para,Kramadi Para,Mralang Para,Y Junction.During the first day’s activities,Bandarban Sadar Upazila Chairman AKM Jahangir,Assistant Commissioner (Land) Tasneem Jahan,Upazila Vice Chairman Yesa Marma,Assistant Engineer,Department of Public Health Engineering (Tag Officer) Md.Manzel Hossain,Sualak Union Parishad Chairman U k Nu Marma and local UP Members and marketing officia
ls were present.

Note that the product list of the 1st stage includes 2 kg of pulses,two liters of oil,2 kg of sugar.Sugar is being marketed at Rs 55 per kg,pulses at Rs 65 and soyabean oil at Rs 110 per liter.
