

District Administration And Department of Environment has conducted a mobile court in the market area of Bandarban Municipality with the aim of preventing the unrestricted use of banned polythene to protect the environment.
On Monday (1 November) Bandarban district administration And the Department of Environment Conducted a mobile court against the use of polythene banned by the government in Bandarban Bazar area.
The mobile court was headed by District Administration Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner Prabir Kumar Biswas.Assistant Director of Environment Directorate Md.Fakhar Uddin Chowdhury, Inspector Md.Ashfakur Rahman and members of law enforcement and journalists were present at the time.
At This Time The Mobile Court,Seized 10 kg polythene Bags.Also,according to section 6 (a) of Bangladesh Environment Protection Act 1995 (Amended-2010),various fines are imposed.
To protect the balance of the environment, this type of mobile court will continue in the future,according to the concerned officials.
