Night Minibar Independence Cup Football Tournament-2024 is going on at Bandarban’s traditional Raja Ground on the occasion of the great Independence Day.
Day 6 of the tournament saw two matches played on Sunday (March 31).District Corruption Prevention Committee member Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal) was present as the chief guest and enjoyed the game on this day.
Bandarban Sporting Club president Bikash Barua presided over the event and former Bangladesh Army football player Sergeant Abdul Jabbar Chowdhury was present as the guest of honour.The leaders of the tournament organizing committee were also present.In the first match of the 6th day,Bandarban District Jail team beat king’s Ground BT Sporting Club team by 1-0.In the other game,Paiza Sporting Club,Chittagong team beat the local Jaditong young Sangha team of Bandarban by 1-0.
Later,Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal) presented the man of the match award to the two best players in two game.According to Bandarban Sporting Club,26 teams are participating in the 1st round of the tournament in the knockout system.
