Bir Bahadur: Elected for the 7th time

Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing is win by the people of Bandarban for the 7th time in a row.On Sunday (January 7) night,the private results of the 300th parliamentary seat in the 12th National Assembly elections were announced.on the basis of information received from a total of 182 Vote stations in the district Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing the candidate of Bangladesh Awami League’s boat symbol was declared the winner.

Bandarban Deputy Commissioner and the Returning Officer Shah Mujahid Uddin announced Bangladesh Awami League candidate Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing as the winner privately.Bir Bahadur got 1 lakh 72 thousand 671 votes in 182 centers.National Party supported candidate ATM Shahidul Islam got 10 thousand 361 votes.

The total number of voters in seat No. 300 was 2 lakh 88 thousand 30 people.Among them,1 lakh 48 thousand 583 male voters and 1 lakh 39 thousand 446 female voters.
On this day 727 booths of 182 polling stations were polled through ballot.Deputy Commissioner and Election Returning Officer Shah Mujahid Uddin said that 64.9 percent of the total votes were cast.

Meanwhile,on Monday (January 8) Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Shah Mujahid Uddin issued a public notice announcing to Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing was elected in the 12th National Assembly election in Bandarban Parliamentary Seat No.300.
