The Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) inaugurated the foundation stone of various development works in Dolupara area in Kuhlang Union of Bandarban.On Saturday (4 November) morning,Hills Minister Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) attended as the chief guest and inaugurated the foundation stone of 1 work and inaugurated 7 works at a cost of 2 crore 51 lakh Tk By implementation of Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board.
Later,the hill minister inaugurated two development works at a cost of 90 lakh taka under the implementation of the hill district council and inaugurated a paved road of 1000 meters at a cost of 70 lakh 71 thousand taka under the ministry of disaster management and relief.After inaugurating various works and laying the foundation stone,the hill minister attended a discussion meeting with the local residents.
While delivering the speech of the chief guest at the meeting,Minister Bir Bahadur said that the current Awami League government is working tirelessly for the development of the hilly areas.The development of the hilly areas has been ensured due to the strong leadership of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of the current government.People of the country can live in peace today.All areas are seeing a tide of development.The hill minister also said that electricity is now burning in Remote area.
Roads have been built in various upazilas and unions and the hilly areas have become much more beautiful and tourist friendly than before in all areas including communication,education, health.The minister called on everyone to stand by the Awami League government for the development of the country in the future and called on everyone to move forward unitedly for the development of the country.
