BRAC project Notification meeting held at Bandarban.BRAC’s Disaster Risk Management Program organized the meeting.The organization’s Chittagong Flash Floods Emergency Response project information meeting was held at the Sadar Upazila Parishad Auditorium.Upazila Executive Officer of Bandarban Sadar Upazila Umme Habiba Mera was present as the chief guest in the meeting conducted by BRAC District Coordinator M.Arif.
Bandarban BRAC confirmed the matter in a press release on Last Sunday.In the speech of the chief guest Uno Sadar Umme Habiba thanked BRAC for coming up with such a project to help the poor people deprived of benefits in the flood-affected hilly areas. BRAC divisional manager Md.Nazrul Islam Majumder presided the meeting.
Bandarban Sadar Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nargis Sultana, Bandarban Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge SM Shahidul Islam were present as special guests.Md.Farhad Hossain,senior program manager of BRAC disaster risk management program gave a welcome speech.Md. Mahabub Ul Alam, project manager of the project presented the project activities and other issues in the event.BRAC Divisional Manager Md. Nazrul Islam Majumdar attended the meeting and gave valuable speeches and suggestions.
