The Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP)
said that,Under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,unprecedented development has been achieved in all areas including education,health,communication system in the hill region.Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has no choice to ensure the continuity of this development in the future.

Minister Bir Bahadur said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the exchange program organized on the occasion of the foundation stone laying and inauguration of various development works in Bandarban.Attending these events,Minister Bir Bahadur also said that Bandarban is a district rich in tourism. Therefore,every government building built in this district should show diversity in its design To attract the attention for tourists.

On Friday (September 15),Minister Bir Bahadur inaugurated the drainage system for waterlogging and sewage disposal to enhance civic amenities in the Bandarban municipal area.On the same day,Minister Bir Bahadur laid the foundation stone of Cheranghar for worshipers of Uzani Para Buddhist Vihar,construction of RCC road,stairs to the river ghat Etc.Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board is implementing the development projects.6 crore 57 lakh Tk are being spent on it.

Also on Saturday (September 16) Minister Bir Bahadur inaugurated the construction work of the 4th floor of Bandarban District Primary Education Office Building.LGED, Bandarban,is implementing the building work at a cost of 4 crore 50 lakhs Taka. District Awami League General Secretary Laxmi Pada Das,Bandarban Municipality Mayor Shamsul Islam,LGED,Bandarban Executive Engineer Ziaul Islam Majumdar, Development Board Bandarban Unit Executive Engineer Abu Bin Yasir Arafat along with and representatives of various organizations were present.
