The Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) Don’t be disappointed.There is no reason to feel small.Efforts to evolve in the light of knowledge must continue.If the goal is right,success will follow.Nothing is impossible for one who has talent.Minister Bir Bahadur made this comment in the speech of the chief guest at the Bangladesh Mro Student Conference-23 held at the Bandarban Hill District Council Auditorium on Saturday (September 2).
Minister Bir Bahadur said that it is our expectation that all students will be well educated in good education.The prime minister has given special priority to the three hill districts of Sheikh Hasina to bring the light of education to the homes of every township in the hills.
Once there was only 1 college in the entire district.And today 14 colleges have been established in Bandarban district. Thousands of students are studying in these colleges and getting higher education.There is no need to go far away to study at extra expense and difficulty.Our Boys and Girls can study in their own area.cthe minister also Said that Good Work keeps people alive.Therefore,the new generation should contribute to the development of the country and their ethnic groups by being educated in good education.
Meanwhile,Mro students highlighted their various struggles,successes,shortcomings and complaints in their educational life. Champao Mro,a student of Chittagong University,highlighted the struggle of academic life.Everyone present at the event got emotional after hearing Champao’s speech.Meanwhile,Minister Bir Bahadur announced a grant of five lakh taka as a fund for the education of poor Mro students.
President of Bangladesh Mro Students Association Chunglock Mro presided over the event.Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md.Shah Alam,Member of Bandarban Hill District Council Singh Young Mro were present as special guests.The minister handed over education scholarships to poor and meritorious students at the event.Also present were Myung Mro Pradeep, Kaingwai Mro Kratpung Mro,Ranglai Mro etc.
