Dry food and clean water have been distributed to the flood victims of Bandarban.Bandarban Deputy Commissioner Shah Mujahid Uddin visited different areas of Sadar on Wednesday (August 9) afternoon and distributed relief aid to the victims.Meanwhile,the Deputy Commissioner spoke to the victims in different areas and took stock.On behalf of the district administration,Rice and clean water were handed over to the victims.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Overall) Md.Fazlur Rahman,Assistant Commissioner Rajib Kumar Biswas and local public representatives were present at the time.

Also,On the same day,Bandarban unit of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society started distributing clean water to various shelters.At 4 pm Red Crescent members distributed this clean water to the flood victims by visiting various shelters in Bandarban.Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Bandarban Unit Secretary Amal Kanti Das along with other members of the society were present.
