Bandarban Football Players Association (BFPA) Gold Cup Football Tournament 2023 final match was held.The game kicks off on Friday (June 9) at 4pm.

Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) Attended the highly competitive game and enjoyed the game as the chief guest and distributed the prizes.Mongwai Ching,President of the Football Players Association,Presided over the event.

On this occasion,Bandarban Region Commander Brigadier General Golam Mohiuddin Ahmed (SGP, NDC,AFWC,PSC, PhD),Additional Superintendent of Police Md.Shah Alam were present as special guests.Also present were Bandarban University founder member Abdul kuddus, MD.Islam Company,District Sports Association Secretary (Acting) Mujibur Rashid,Member Dilip Kumar Dey, Tournament Management Committee Convener Rafiqul Alam Mamun,Member Secretary Monir Ahmed and others.

In the final game of the tournament, Lohagara Youth Football Academy defeated Friends Club of Bandarban 1-0 and won the champion trophy.The 6th jersey holder of the champion team M. Lutfur won the man of the match award.At the end of the game,Minister Bir Bahadur distributed the champions and runners-up and Man of the Match awards.Sports organizer Mahfuzur Rashid Baccu acted as commentator.

On this day,Minister Bir Bahadur handed over a donation of one lakh to the tournament management committee.The final game,played in spite of the heavy rain, was very dramatic and exciting.Local sports lovers applauded such an event after many years at the traditional Rajaramath.Eight football teams participate in this tournament.
