

Bandarban Government Girls High School held its annual prize distribution and interesting cultural program Chaitra’s Kite performed by the students.The prize distribution was held on Tuesday (March 21) afternoon in the school premises. Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji distributed the awards as the chief guest at the event.Head Teacher Smriti Kona Dey presided over the function.
Assistant Commissioner Rajeev Kumar Biswas,District Anti-Corruption Commission President Aungch Mong, Bandarban Government High School Principal Dipti Kana Dey were present as special guests.At The Time,Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji said Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has introduced free textbooks,stipends and scholarships and free school feeding.So female students should be attentive to their studies.She said,a mother-daughter can change her whole family.So,if you want to face the challenges of the future by studying,you have to prepare yourself from now.
She called on teachers, parents and all stakeholders to work together to build a smart Bangladesh in the coming days. Later,Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji distributed prizes among the winners of various event-based competitions and enjoyed a delightful cultural program.
