All The Must Work Together To Strengthen The Socio-economic Base Of Local Women: Yasmin Parvin Tibriji

Deputy Commissioner of Bandarban Yasmin Parvin Tibriji said,This training in making handicraft products with yarn produced from the fiber of the banana tree has opened a new door for local women to become economically independent.It is not enough to make products with training. Care should also be taken to ensure that the products produced are quality products.

The more quality products you can produce,The bigger the market for your products will be.Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji said these things while appearing as the chief guest at the inauguration of the training program for making handicraft products with yarn produced from banana tree fiber on Tuesday (January 3).

The Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji Also said, “Earlier,we have given training on the production of yarn from banana fiber first.Now the training program for making handicraft products with that yarn has started.

She Added,Since taking charge of Bandarban district as District Commissioner,I have been working to improve the socio-economic status of local women as well as to change their economic status.She also urged everyone to support the development of women.

Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman AKM Jahangir,Executive Magistrate Rajib Kumar Biswas,Deputy Director of Women Affairs Department Atia Chowdhury,Bandarban University Lecturer Shaing Shaing U Nini, Master Trainer Hasina Akhter were present. Forty local women are receiving training in this 7-day program.Directorate of Women Affairs,Bandarban office is cooperating in this training program organized by Bandarban district administration.
