The Ghumdhum Police Investigation Center has arrested a drug dealer named Md.Solim along with Yaba in Ghumdhum Union in Naikhongchhari Upazila of Bandarban.
On Friday,November 25, around 2 pm,he was arrested for suspicious behavior while conducting a search operation in the entrance area of Yahya Garden,adjacent to the TV Tower,Ward No.4,Ghumdhum UP.
Ten Thousand pieces of yaba were seized from the arrested person.whose market value is Tk 3 lakh.The arrested person is the son of Mo. Ayyub of Hakim Para Rohingya Camp 14 in Ukhia.
In this regard,the OC (Investigation) of Naikhongchhari police station Md. Shahjahan,Said that the ongoing anti-narcotics operation is being conducted under the overall guidance of Superintendent of Police Md.Tariqul Islam,PPM.Further legal action has been taken including filing a case against the arrested person.
