Cash Money (cheque) distribution was held among the beneficiaries of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society at the Lama of Bandarban.Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) Appeared as the chief guest and distributed this cash Money (cheque).

This money Cash (Cheque) was distributed on Saturday (September 24) in a ceremony organized at Sadar Union Parishad ground of Lama Upazila.

Secretary General of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Kazi Shafiqul Azam, Director (CD Department) Md.Belal Hossain were present as special guests in the event organized under the Overall supervision By Bandarban Red Crescent Unit Secretary Amal Kanti Das.

Also Bandarban Additional Superintendent of Police Md.Reza Sarwar,Lama Upazila Chairman Mustafa Jamal,Upazila Executive Officer Md.Mostafa Javed Kaiser and others were present.Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Bandarban Unit Vice Chairman Abdur Rahim Chowdhury presided over the event.

According to the sources of Bandarban Red Crescent Society,cash money (cheque) of 30 thousand taka was distributed to 129 beneficiaries of Sadar Union of Lama Upazila in favor of income-increasing work among the beneficiaries.These money checks are distributed under the Economic Security (ECOSEC) scheme.

Meanwhile,On the same day,Minister Bir Bahadur Bandarban Hills District Council funded the newly constructed Lama Markaz Mosque Complex Building,Lama Upazila Modern High School Dormitory Building, 4th Class Employees Club House,Yangcha Faizul Ulum Hamiuchchuna Madrasa Building,Yangcha Ram Temple RCC road and room expansion and Ghazalia inaugurated various development works including the connecting road of Army Camp.
