Inauguration of web-based software designed to complete the online approval process for foreign tourists to travel to Bandarban Hill District.

On Sunday (31) the official inauguration of this software was done by the Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP).

Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji presided over the inauguration ceremony organized in the Deputy Commissioner’s conference room.

Bandarban Army Zone Deputy Commander Major Mahmudul Hasan Sohag, PSC, Additional Deputy Commissioner Md. Sheikh Sadek, Additional Police Superintendent Reza Sarwar,Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Sajia Afroz,Executive Magistrate Rajib Kumar Biswas, Zakia Sarwar Lima,Information and Technology Department (Bandarban) programmer Surat Alam Akash was present At This Time.

Saurabh Chakraborty, a former assistant programmer of Rowangchari Upazila of Bandarban,works as the developer of this software.

According to the district administration, Many tourists visit Bandarban district throughout the year in the tourist city of Bandarban.Besides,Thousands of foreign nationals from different countries of the world visit Bandarban to enjoy the wonderful beauty of Bandarban.

This software was created under the direction of Deputy Commissioner of Bandarban Yasmin Parvin Tibriji with the aim that these foreign tourists can easily complete their travel related matters online before entering Bandarban.

As a result of the launch of this software, foreign tourists coming to Bandarban can easily enjoy the tourist attractions in Bandarban district by completing the travel authorization application within 5 days using the portal fbta.gov.bd.
